Transition in parochial vicars
Our Parish Family will see a transition in parochial vicars starting July 1, 2025. Father Anthony "Tony" Kitema will serve in the place of Father Maximiliano Muñoz, who will continue as vicar for Parish Family 48 in Grays Harbor County.
Thank you for your ministry over this past year, Father Maximiliano! We pray that your new assignment brings great joy, and we look forward to welcoming Father Tony soon. (Father Tony picture credit: GHCatholic.org)

Join our team of volunteer counters!
We are looking to add to our team of counters at Sacred Heart Parish for the Sunday and Holy Day collections.
A volunteer would receive training with an experienced team, as well as a complete written description of procedures. Each volunteer must complete and pass a background check; previous counters are welcome!
Training will be on Tuesdays during the month of May from 9 am to 1 pm. Beginning June 2, volunteers will be asked to commit to Mondays from 9 am to 1 pm. If this time does not work for you, we may be able to add an additional team on a separate day. This team will work directly with our bookkeeper, Suzi Mantle, and oversight with our Regional Pastoral Associate for Administration, Carmen Bryant.
If interested, please email Suzi Mantle at smantle@sacredhearttacoma.org, or call the Parish Office (number below).
Thank you!
