Jubilee Year

If you have been unable to celebrate this Jubilee Year so far, there's still time! Initiated by Pope Francis on December 24, 2024, the Jubilee will conclude with the closing of the Holy Doors at St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City on January 6, 2026.

Local Catholics are encouraged to visit any of the 5 Archdiocesan pilgrimage sites (including St. James Cathedral in Seattle) designated for the Jubilee. Discover our mission to be "Pilgrims of Hope" by visiting ArchSeattle.org/Jubilee2025.
